Avocado and Cream mask:

This extremely rich mask is packed full of vitamins: avocados alone contain A, B and C, plus essential amino-acids.

INGREDIENTS:

very ripe avocado
2 tablespoons fresh double cream
1 tablespoon wheat germ oil

METHOD :

Peel the stoned, halved avocado and mash the flesh with the back of a fork. Add the double cream, and wheat germ oil, stirring well to mix.

Apply evenly to the cleaned face and neck and leave for approx. 20 minutes. Rinse with tepid water and pat dry. Dab on a little rosewater and leave to dry naturally.

Honey and Egg yolk mask

Egg yolk contains vitamins A, D and E, plus essential amino-acids, minerals and trace elements, in a form which the skin can easily absorb and process. Here it is paired with moisturising honey in a recipe which is an excellent boost for any kind of tired skin.

INGREDIENTS:

1 tablespoon organic honey
1 large egg yolk
1 teaspoon white or green clay powder or potato flour

METHOD :

Combine the honey, egg yolk and clay or potato flour, stirring to create a fine paste.

Apply evenly to the cleaned face and neck and leave for approx. 20 minutes. Rinse off with water, and pat dry. Dab on a little rosewater and leave to dry naturally.
