Natural Beauty Care Guide

Protecting your skin is a very important part of your skin care routine. Cosmeticians imply that your skin needs to be protected against dirt and germs in the environment. However, our skin is quite capable of doing that without any help. Protecting means protecting the skin against sun-damage, which, you will learn, is the most important cause of skin aging.

For oily skin: Choose a light sunscreen gel or spray.

For normal/combination skin: Apply a sunscreen gel SPF 15 or a sunscreen containing moisturiser.

For dry skin: You can use any lotion or cream sunscreen-they stay on longer than gels.

For sensitive skin: Choose a chemical-free sunscreen

SPF 15: Everyday protection

Many dermatologists recommended using a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 all the time, whatever the climate or season. So get your daily dose of SPF 15 in a regular sunscreen or moisturisers or foundations with added sunscreens.

SPF 30: Extra protection

If youíre planning an all-day jaunt to the beach, park or golf course, use a sunblock or sunscreen with an SPF of up to 30. Wear light-colored clothing to reflect the sunís rays. Avoid wearing black clothing or block swimsuits, which absorb the sunís rays. . Wear a hat and sunglasses to protect the eyes from UV rays.
