Wrinkle Prevention Treatments

Wrinkles are caused by Dryness(less oil), dehydration (less water), stress, sun, wind, extreme temperatures, excessive exercise, travel, alcohol, coffee, tobacco, sweets, spicy foods, hot or cold water, sudden weight loss, water pills, hormone medication, diabetes, lack of purpose, lack of loving relationships, hereditary factors. Cheeky is what wrinkles are, and where they usually make their first appearance. In women are more prone to wrinkling than men because most males have a thicker dermis (the layer just under the skin's surface), which remains elastic longer than a woman's. Sleeping on your back to avoid skin-tugging-and-wrinkling by your pillow is one method of prevention and treatment, and there are others:

  • Castor oil, cocoa butter, and coconut oil, the most revered wrinkle chasers, may be applied as frequently as desired.
  • Egg White.Daily use of any of the egg white masks, or merely covering your face with raw egg white (with or without a few drops of lemon juice) each morning and rinsing it off after 10 minutes, can produce dramatic results.
  • Twice weekly, do a facial mask using a paste of 1 Tbsp sandalwood powder, 1 drop camphor oil , 3-4 drops lotus oil , 2 tsp water. With ring finger, gently massage a few drops of face oil made with sandalwood , rose oil directly under eyes for protection, then apply paste to rest of face. Cover eyes with wet cotton pads dipped in rosewater and lie down for 10-15 minutes.
  • Egg yolk and mayonnaise. To paint your face with raw egg yolk, applying it thickly over wrinkled or lined areas. While the egg is drying, mix 2 tablespoons mayonnaise with teaspoon each fuller's earth and powdered kelp. Apply this paste over the egg yolk; rinse off after 10 minutes.
  • Cleanse your face, smooth on a generous coating of petroleum jelly or vegetable oil, then "iron" the lines and wrinkles with the bowl of a metal spoon heated in a cup of hot water. Go over your face several times, reheating the spoon when it cools. Tissue off the excess oil and sponge your face with a mild freshener.

  • Lecithin granules, dissolved in warm water, mixed with cold-pressed vegetable oil and rubbed into the skin for all-day or all-night treatments reduce wrinkles when used religiously over a period of months.
  • Oatmeal masks soften skin, making it less prone to wrinkle. Reserve cup leftover breakfast oatmeal in the refrigerator. Every evening, mix 1 tablespoon of the oatmeal with 1/2 teaspoon each cream and vegetable oil. Gently massage over your face and throat, and rinse away after 20 minutes.
  • Olive oil, lemon juice, and salt improve skin as well as salad. Twice each day, rub olive oil into your clean face. Pat on lemon juice, drop by drop, until your skin feels "tacky," then briskly rub sea salt (or a half-and-half blend of epsom salt and table salt) over your face. Rinse off with warm water and blot dry.
  • Yogurt and vitamin E are aging-skin fighters. Blend 2 teaspoons yogurt and 1/2 teaspoon each honey and lemon juice with vitamin-E capsule. Smooth over your face, let penetrate for 15 minutes, then rinse.
